Sheldon is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional, and holds a Certificate of OH&S from the University of New Brunswick and Construction Safety Officer certificate from BCIT. Sheldon is also a Registered Professional Trainer from the Canadian Professional Trainer Association, an Accident Investigation Technician from the National Association of Safety Professionals, a Registered Construction Safety Officer from the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of BC and a BC Boiler and Pressure Vessel Welder.
Sheldon has worked in various environments including Mining, Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, Heavy Industrial and Remediation. After citizens of High River, Alberta lost their homes because of flooding, Sheldon was tasked with ensuring toxic gases, including biologically produced H2S, were removed. Sheldon’s experience with the families affected solidified his dedication to a career in health and safety.
