With so many occupational health and safety (OHS) designations and no standards between them, how do employers or practitioners know which is best? An OHS practitioner is an integral role in the manufacturing industry yet it still isn’t a recognized profession.
The current project led by MSABC is looking in to strategies for developing standards for the OHS profession and we are inviting BC’s manufacturing industry to provide input. We need your feedback to help ensure that these proposed strategies meet the needs of our industry. We would like to hear from employers as well as OHS professionals in order to gain a full perspective and are hoping that you can attend.
Sessions will start at 12noon with a light lunch and introductions and will finish by 3pm. To help offset your travel costs and to thank you for your time, you will be given $50 cash for participating. Seats are limited – please contact us today to reserve your spot.
