Incident Investigation

An incident investigation system is the primary tool for identifying preventative solutions after an incident has occurred. The purpose of an incident investigation is to determine the cause or causes of the incident, to identify any unsafe conditions or acts that caused the incident, and to recommend corrective actions to prevent similar incidents.

As a result, an effective and systematic incident investigation program is a key driver to the continuous improvement of the health and safety program, policies, procedures and training.
