Industrial Hygiene is the science which involves the recognition, evaluation, and control of workplace or community exposure to hazards, which may cause occupational diseases, sickness, and impaired health. Hazards may be in the chemical, biological, and physical form. In this 1.5 hr interactive session, we will be going through the core concepts of industrial hygiene, including Risk Assessments and the Hygiene Paradigm, and also go through real-life scenarios which will allow you to practice using these core concepts and tools.
