The Manufacturing Safety Alliance of BC will identify and bring together a team of six companies who share the cost of health and safety program development. Over a 2-year period we will evaluate your health and safety standards. Beginning with a process known as a GAP Analysis we will identify your needs, develop an action plan and implement the programs that will journey your company to become OSSE certified.
The designated SPS coordinator, though paid for by the pool, will be employed by the Manufacturing Safety Alliance of BC and will work closely with you and the rest of your team to build the very best safety management protocols, practices and procedures required to achieve the OSSE standard.
Throughout the process we will plan and provide training, including applying for training rebates through the BC Jobs Grant, and identify and mentor employees who could help to build a safety management system.
