In partnership with the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills and Training through a Sector Labour Market Partnership, the Alliance conducted a review of academic and industry literature to answer three questions:

• What is the current state of the OHS profession in Canada and the Commonwealth?
• What are the most sought-after skills for OHS Professional?
• How are OHS Professionals accredited or certified, particularly by the IOSH, the INSHPO, and BCRSP? 

This presentation will provide the highlights answering these questions and provide a picture of how the OHS profession may continue to evolve in Canada.
