Biography

An occupational health specialist, writer, and educator, Dorothy is a practitioner of occupational hygiene, ergonomics, work organisation, and participatory education. In her work, she was a pioneer of body maps and workplace (hazard) mapping to see symptoms and hazards with new eyes. She has developed and used a range of innovative tools for inspections, health and safety committee functions and training, general OHS education, chemicals management and substitution, and problem-solving.
