Biography

Jeannie Nigam is a Research Psychologist at the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. She is the Co-Coordinator of the Healthy Work Design and Well-Being program, and an advisor to the Total Worker Health Program. Jeannie’s graduate work is in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and her research centers on understanding how work organization affects employee health and well-being with emphases in the areas of work-life balance, mental health, and examining the benefits of comprehensive organizational programs that promote and protect worker health. Jeannie has spoken on these topics to both applied and academic audiences at conferences, trade group, and association meetings. She co-edited the book Total Worker Health and is on the core planning committee for the Work, Stress, and Health Conference series.
