Biography

Regional Safety Manager for Rahr Corporation, Jeremy has been with the company's subsidiary Gambrinus Malting since 2018. In his current role, he oversees the safety program for two malting plants and five warehousing facilities across Canada. A resident of Vernon, B.C., Jeremy is a Red Seal Electrician and worked in that field for ten years before his shift into health and safety. He is CRST certified, an NCSO and ISO 45001 Auditor, and a member of the Technical Advisory Committee to the Manufacturing Safety Alliance of BC. Experience in the field has given him valuable perspective on how we can make safety work for everyone.

Jeremy's deep interest in craft beer led him to Gambrinus and the malting industry. The proudest moment of his health and safety career has been when his team at Gambrinus achieved certification to the Occupational Safety Standard of Excellence.  He has a keen interest in integrating technology into the manufacturing industry to make jobs easier and safer.
