Human Resources Manager at FlexiForce North America, a division of ASSA ABLOY, Kelly Hamer leads the Human Resources and Safety Programs for their component manufacturing division located in British Columbia and Georgia. Established in 1980 as Helton Industries, the company grew strong market share and became FlexiForce in 2012. The company is specialized in the design, procurement, production and distribution of hardware components and plastics for the overhead door industry as well as reinforcements for the window industry.

With 18 years in human resources management experience, Kelly has led HR and occupational health and safety programs in the hospitality, retail, and manufacturing sectors. Building on nine years in the food processing and manufacturing sector managing HR with responsibility for OHS, Kelly moved to FlexiForce in 2019 and has lead the continuous safety improvement culture from PACE to almost OSSE-ready.

Kelly lends her expertise as a member of the Manufacturing Safety Alliance of BC Technical Advisory Committee, co-chaired an industry peer group, and is a current skater and Executive Committee Member of the Lower Mainland Synchronized Skating Club.
