Kiran Kapoor

Kiran Kapoor is a senior leader focused on a data driven approach to inform strategy and business decisions that create customer value and maximize impact. In her executive leadership role at Workplace Safety & Prevention Services, Kiran leads cross-functional teams, guided by the principle that diversity brings strength and that innovation and insight require multiple voices.

A 2023 Canadian Occupational Safety Top Woman in Safety, she has a vision to create healthy work environments in the agricultural, service and manufacturing sectors.

Kiran's early experience in the public and private sectors included research and program evaluation, stakeholder consultations, and building up health and safety management systems. As a recognized authority, she shares her expertise and passion for health beyond WSPS through speaking engagements and academic programs.

Kiran earned her undergraduate honours degree in biology from McMaster University and her master’s degree in health science from the University of Toronto. Recently, she completed the Governance Essentials Program from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
