Klaus-Dieter Becker is a Professional Engineer, head of electrical engineering and expert in control systems at the German Social Accident Insurance Institution for the energy, textile, electrical and media sectors in Cologne, Germany. He is the chair of the ISSA Machine Safety Section’s Control Devices project group and convenor of several international standardization committees.
