Under the leadership of Laura and her team, West Coast Reduction Ltd. improved their safety record significantly and helped usher their facilities and partners into achieving certification in the Occupational Safety Standard of Excellence—WorkSafeBC's COR certification but more— and receiving Topaz and Sapphire Safety Pinnacle Awards in 2025.
