Paul Breed is a retired senior UK Police officer, with the majority of his service spent within Specialist Operations where he was able to develop his crisis leadership skills as an operational, tactical and strategic commander.
His passion for crisis management and business continuity saw him complete a Master’s Degree in Business Continuity, Security and Emergency Management, that led to him becoming an approved trainer with the globally recognized Business Continuity Institute (BCI).
His experience has seen him work in Europe, Middle East and Canada including roles as a senior leader and consultant, in the public, private, and non-profit sectors, including the Head of Emergency Preparedness, Business Continuity and Resilience for a large National Health Service Trust in the UK and was formerly the Business Continuity Lead and Emergency Manager for the Ministry of Advanced Education and the British Columbia Ministry of Health and Strategic Advisor for the Ministry of Interior, UAE. Paul is also a curriculum developer and university lecturer for several post-secondary institutes, focusing on emergency management, business continuity and organizational resilience courses.
He is also Chartered Security Professional (CSyP) and a Fellow of the Security Institute (FSyl).
