Biography

Rob graduated from the Mechanical Engineering Technology program at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in 1988. He immediately found himself in the world of dust collection and filtration. After a downturn in the Alberta economy in 1990, he made his way to British Columbia, met and married a wonderful lady and never left. In his role at AIRPLUS, he works with manufacturers, engineers, and contractors to solve dust problems. Over his 38 years of working in dust collection service and sales, he has seen a lot of changes in how the dangers of combustible dust are recognized and addressed. He is accredited with the Association of Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of BC, and a member of the National Fire Protection Association. He loves to travel, whether by plane, train, automobile or boat, and seeks back roads whenever possible.
