Biography
She brings over 30 years of facilitation experience in Occupational First Aid, Mental Health First Aid, Instructional Skills, leadership and curriculum development.  Volunteerism has played a strong role in her life having volunteered with Search and Rescue, St. John Ambulance, Scouts and Girl Guides Canada.  Romy is a recipient of the queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Medal for having made significant contributions to British Columbia as a Cadet Instructor working with youth for 25 years.
Romy has a profound interest in life-long learning and has taken every opportunity to grow and develop her skills completing numerous programs through JIBC, Vancouver Community College, Instruction Skills Network and the Mental Health Commission of Canada. Her mission as an OHS trainer is to ensure workplaces are promoting health and safety because workers should come first. We want our workers home safe at the end of the day.
