With over three decades of experience in safety, organizational culture, and performance across aviation, energy, education, and industrial operations, Stephanie leads Benay Leadership & Safety Advisory as Principal. She supports executives and senior leadership teams in building healthy, high-trust organizations with clarity, accountability, and high performance. She provides strategic advisory support, Safety Management Systems (SMS) reviews, executive coaching, and authored content.

Recognized as a Top 10 Global Safety Influencer in 2020 and as a Top Woman in Safety Canada for four consecutive years, Stephanie is dedicated to fostering operational excellence and sustainable transformation.

Most recently Associate Vice President of EHS at SAIT, Stephanie previously directed Safety at BC Hydro, leading a large team of multi-disciplinary experts in safety strategy, programs, electrical safety, safety management systems, reporting, analytics, public safety and aircraft operations.

With more than two decades of expertise across industries, she has drastically improved staff performance and health and safety engagement, enabling organizations to capture new levels of safety performance and profitability.
