OHS Safety Advisor - Generalist
Biography

Pinar began her career as an environmental engineer designing waste water treatment systems; later expanding into occupational health and safety. She is a lead auditor for occupational safety environments and quality management systems and is familiar with the standards used by ISO 45001, OHSA, and NIOSH. Pinar brings a wide range of experience in workplace health and safety spanning 20 years—18 of which supporting companies in the manufacturing sector. Pinar uses her understanding of risk assessment and hazard identification to help clients identify gaps and find resources to help to eliminate or minimize the risks. As a safety generalist in manufacturing, she is familiar with safety procedures relating to machine safeguarding, de-energization, confined spaces, and fire and life safety.
