
This Psychological First Aid course is an 8-hour session that teaches learners how to provide practical, compassionate support without being intrusive. They will learn how to assess needs and concerns, help people connect with accurate information and available services, and strengthen access to social supports. Other topics covered include core communication skills, including how to listen without pressuring someone to talk and how to promote a sense of safety and connection.

This instructor-led course is only offered in-person in an 8-hour session. This course may be scheduled to run privately at your workplace for your team members.
Previous health and safety education and/or experience is an asset but not required.
