Thermal Imaging Fundamentals

Working around any machinery or live electrical work is inherently dangerous.  Fundamentals of Thermal Imaging is recommended for anyone already conducting, or planning to conduct thermal surveys. Learn how thermal imaging technologies can uncover impending failures or dangerous situations that left unchecked, could lead to lost production or serious injury.

 

Goals and Objectives

In this class, learn the basic concepts of thermal imaging, including:

  • The basic operation of common thermal cameras
  • How thermal imaging can be applied in a production setting
  • How to conduct a thermal inspection safely
  • The requirements for becoming a Level I Certified Thermographer
