John Foster is a Certified Manufacturing Safety Alliance of BC External OSSE Auditor.

He is professionally bonded and insured as a Professional Biologist in BC and has over 35 years of consulting experience in Canada and internationally.

John is also an Accredited Verifier for Green Marine, and Towards Sustainable Mining (Mining Association of Canada). He is a Contract Registration Auditor for SGS International (ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and OHSAS 18001).

John has led over 400 environment, compliance and health & safety audits for federal, provincial and municipal government agencies and a wide variety of private industrial and institutional organizations including manufacturing and food industry clients.  His auditing experience includes above ground and underground mining, forestry (pulp & paper, sawmills, and wood treatment plants), highways and transit facilities, bus operations, hydroelectric facilities, electrical transmission, water treatment, chemical plants, marine terminals, ferries, ship construction and repair.

• Completing ISO registration and surveillance audits of several of Nestle’s largest North American plants, including one plant with over 5500 workers.
