Apex Award – Service and Advocacy
The Apex Award for dedicated service and advocacy in safety recognizes an individual for exceptional commitment, passion, dedication, and action in support of health and safety.

Nominations Open

Nominations for the 2025 Apex Award are now open. Submit an application and we will reach out to you with a short questionnaire.

All nominations will be reviewed and a short list of finalists determined. Judges will interview all finalists to determine a winner.

Apex Award Nomination Form

Please share how the nominee meets the criteria for the Apex Award. Please include specific examples.

Eligibility: Awarded to any individual working at a MSABC member* or OSSE certified organization.

Criteria: This award recognizes an individual for exceptional commitment, passion, dedication, and action in support of health and safety.

Self-nominations are not accepted. Others may submit supporting nominations, but the primary nomination must come from someone inside the nominee’s organization.

Include specific examples of how the nominee advocates for health and safety, inside the business and in the broader community.

Organizational health and safety performance may also weigh into the decision. Include a copy of your organization’s WorkSafeBC Employer Report  (which you can download from the Employer Health and Safety Planning Tool Kit) with data for at least one year and preferably the past three.
