Casey Chan is a Canadian Registered Safety Technician with a background in plastics manufacturing, motion picture production, and live event production. Casey is a certified OSSE external auditor with the Manufacturing Safety Alliance of BC and an educational facilitator for ActSafe Safety Association.

Casey is a rigger by trade for the motion picture industry and stage builder for the live event industry. Upon graduating from BCIT’s OH&S Certificate program in 2020, Casey became a Safety Coordinator for a plastic manufacturer.

Casey’s unique background has fostered the ability to analyze large subsets of data to make strategic deductions that can be utilized for continuous improvement of organizational occupational health and safety management systems and process management systems.

Casey’s attention to detail and ability to make data connections has proven to be useful for a new Auditor.
