Alan Arcand is the Chief Economist at Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME), where he is responsible for leading the association’s economic research initiatives. His responsibilities include conducting economic analyses and surveys, as well as advocating on behalf of CME and its members with both government officials and the public. Before joining CME, Alan spent 20 years with The Conference Board of Canada where he held multiple roles, including serving as the Associate Director of the Centre for Municipal Studies.
