Bruce Jackson

Bruce Jackson first became involved in workplace health and safety in 1994 while working in the wood products manufacturing industry. He spent 20 years with WorkSafeBC working in a variety of capacities - as a prevention officer, instructor, and in prevention quality assurance. A safety consultant since late 2017, he provides safety training, management systems auditing, and incident investigation services to industry. He has also been an instructor in the OH&S programs offered by both SFU and BCIT. 

Bruce is a graduate of BCIT in both health and safety and operations management. He also has a graduate degree in human factors & safety adult education. He is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional, a Chartered Member of IOSH and a Certified Instructional Trainer (BCSP). He is active in a variety of educational pursuits, and serves as a volunteer for several national health and safety organizations.
