Jackie is the Leader, Safety System Risk at Technical Safety BC. She leads the team responsible for understanding and treating safety risks in BC associated with our regulated technologies. With more than 10 years of experience in risk management, her work has promoted public safety in multiple contexts, from coastal flood risk adaptation at communities across Canada to managing safety risks at healthcare facilities in BC. Before her time at Technical Safety BC, Jackie was a research scientist at Natural Resources Canada and the Technical Lead at Fraser Health Authorities. She holds a PhD in Resource Management and Environmental Sciences from UBC.
