Food is an incredibly important part of the Chinese culture, where even common greetings will include enquiries about whether or not one has eaten. It is from these cultural roots that Fine Choice Foods was built.

Providing food that is authentic, delicious, yet easy to prepare was key to their business. They wanted to treat their customers as family, and wanted them to feel the hospitality of their family when they tried their wide variety of offerings. Their vision is “for everyone to love their food as much as they do.”

Fine Choice Foods is a Canadian-owned business, dedicated to delivering quality Asian cuisine for the North American Market since 1986. Specializing in spring rolls, gyozas (potstickers), and more, the company has grown from a small store front located in Vancouver, BC, to now owning two 50,000 sqft state of the art facilities in Richmond, BC, employing more than 300 people.

As a business built over two generations, it was important to them that they didn’t lose the care and passion that allowed them to thrive all these years. They wanted to capture the essence of what the family built and, as such, worked closely with their tenured team to extract and develop guiding principles that capture their defining characteristics and the heart of their business – that’s food with heart.

The word SUMM! means ‘heart’ in Cantonese, and to this day their products are still made with love in small batches and high-quality ingredients.
