Kim Stubbs

Kim Stubbs, CRSP, has been dedicated to occupational health and safety throughout her career with WorkSafeBC, where she has served since 2000. She began her journey as a Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) worker representative at the head office location, demonstrating an early commitment to fostering safe and healthy workplaces.
In 2007, Kim was promoted to Corporate Safety Advisor, a role in which she was responsible for implementing and maintaining WorkSafeBC’s occupational health and safety management system. During her tenure, she also provided safety advisory support to all the WorkSafeBC JHSCs across 14 office locations, helping strengthen safety culture, compliance, and employee engagement throughout the organization.
Today, Kim serves as an Industry and Program Specialist for WorkSafeBC’s Manufacturing and Supply Chain Industry, where she works with employers, workers, and industry stakeholders to advance workplace health and safety initiatives and promote injury prevention. Her extensive background in safety management and stakeholder collaboration enables her to support programs that improve workplace outcomes across British Columbia.
In addition to her professional responsibilities, Kim is actively involved in worker representation and advocacy. She currently serves as an elected Director of the Compensation Employees’ Union (CEU) and continues to contribute as a worker representative on her local JHSC.
Kim is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) and remains committed to advancing occupational health and safety through leadership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
