Pourya began his career as a first-aid attendant while continuing his education and supporting a family business. Later he joined Safety Management Company and worked as a construction safety officer, supporting construction projects with safety needs. He also worked as an OHS Coordinator at Environmental Company where he assisted the organization with building and maintaining their safety management systems and improving the safety culture.

His years of experience before joining the Alliance allow him to bring extensive knowledge of different technologies in manufacturing.

Pourya provides specialized services in machine guarding and industrial racking as well as supporting the services and Occupational Safety Standard of Excellence (OSSE) department by working with different clients and assisting them with their safety management systems. He also supports clients to develop a path for them to reach OSSE certification.

He enjoys interacting with different clients, building strong relationships, and supporting them through their occupational health and safety challenges.

His educational background includes diplomas in Arts and Science from Langara College,  Computer and Electrical Engineering, and Business Management from BCIT, and certificates in OHS and Computer Systems from BCIT.
