Tami Der is an Industry and Program Specialist with the Prevention Programs and Services department within WorkSafeBC. Tami has 30 years of experience with WorkSafeBC. Prior to joining Prevention Program and Services Tami was responsible for leading and developing Prevention Officer training.

For the last 5 years Tami has been working with Industry Associations and Employers of British Columbia by positively influencing behaviours through partnerships, consultation, outreach, education, funding, and the provision of products and services, to help them achieve safer workplaces.

This webinar with WorkSafeBC will walk through the new implemented amendments to Part 5 of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations that focus on emergency response planning—specifically related to hazardous substances. During this session, they will review these changes, what it means, and provide guidance on how to implement these changes. We will also share what supports and resources the Alliance can provide you as you update your emergency response plans to meet these changes.
