The 2023 recipient of the Julie Cole Bursary, Tom worked during the pandemic as a contact tracer for the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority. In this position, he developed a passion for protecting the health and safety of workers in the meat processing industry.

Tom’s aim is to become a safety professional who inspires a strong safety culture that promotes the health and well-being of all workers.
