FREE WORKSHOP | RiskCheck: Conducting road safety risk assessments
Do you or your employees drive for work?
On March 5, we are co-hosting a FREE in-person workshop with Road Safety at Work for Lower Mainland members. Many Members have employees who drive as part of their job, so this workshop may serve as a starting point for their safe driving initiatives.
Road Safety At Work comes with many resources and a great workshop, and our advisors can provide follow-up advisory support for companies who attend.

This 2.5-hour workshop by Road Safety at Work takes participants through hazard identification and risk assessment from a road safety perspective. During this in-person workshop, attendees will:
- Learn about resources that help identify and categorize driving related hazards, systematically evaluate risks, and set priorities to control those risks
- Apply what they’ve learned in a group activity
- Be provided a demonstration and access to a free online tool (RiskCheck), which can be used to perform and document risk assessments and produce effective action plans
Space is limited to 24 participants.
Who should attend
BC-based company owners, manager, supervisors, health and safety practitioners, Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee members, and anyone who develops and implements programs to keep employees safe when they drive for work.
