Lucie-Ann Pineau joins the Manufacturing Safety Alliance of BC as new Chief Financial Officer
The Alliance is pleased to welcome our new chief financial officer, Lucie-Ann Pineau. Lucie-Ann will join us on May 26, 2021, and will work alongside the chief of operations and chief executive officer to deliver our important mandate.
Lucie-Ann is an experienced CPA/CMA with over 25 years of experience in business strategy, corporate administration and audit. She has a diverse education portfolio including a Bachelor of Education, Masters in Philosophy, and Business Administration. She holds several professional certifications in addition to her accountancy qualifications: project management (PMP), internal auditing (CIA), and internal data security (CISO). Lucie-Ann brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our organization.
Lucie-Ann was the chief financial officer for Conseil des écoles fransaskoises de la Saskatchewan in Regina before moving to B.C. Prior to this role, she was the senior director, audit and consulting at Grant Thornton In Montréal. She also held IT specialist and technology roles with the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada and Mastercard International. Specializing in the not-for-profit sector, Lucie-Ann has experience providing support in management services, finance and operations (IT, HR, facilities) audits, financial reporting, process optimization, major capital projects, and enterprise risk management.
