In 1997, NAOSH Week (North American Occupational Safety and Health Week) was launched to highlight the importance of preventing injury and illness in the workplace. Join in our NAOSH Week events for 2021.
New, virtual classes!
In celebration of NAOSH Week, the Alliance has launched two, new virtual classes:
- Industrial Storage Racking – May 5 | 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. | $99
Your storage racking system can influence productivity across your entire logistics chain. This workshop will cover identifying storage rack hazards, best practices for effective installations, maintenance and repair to prevent injuries, and more. - Emergency Response Planning – May 5, 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. | $99
Learn the importance of emergency response, identify potential emergencies for your workplace, and explore the elements of an emergency response plan.

To achieve a safe workplace, employers and workers need to be aware of current hazards and possible hazards as soon as possible. Learn how to identify hazards, assess their risk, and select control measures for those hazards. - Thermal Imaging – May 6 | 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. | $99
Working around any machinery or live electrical work is inherently dangerous and the Manufacturing Safety Alliance of BC highly recommends this course as a basic requirement for anyone already conducting or planning to conduct thermal surveys.
