Handheld power tools pose a serious safety concern for workers in the manufacturing sector. Because they are so versatile, handheld power tools are often used in tight quarters, on ladders, and to perform small tasks on the spot. But portable circular saws, routers, hand grinders, jigsaws, and a variety of other handheld power tools can cause serious injuries to workers. 

Lorne has extensive experience using power tools and has responded to multiple workplace injuries resulting from the mis-use of power tools. He will be sharing what he knows to help people get home safe in this high level awareness session.
